These Terms govern your use of aodetectors.com and any purchase from Abdlekarim Omer International Trading LLC ("AO Detectors"). By placing an order or contacting us to buy, you agree to these Terms.
Products and information
We are an authorised reseller of genuine, brand-new metal and gold detectors and accessories. Specifications are provided by the manufacturers and product images are for illustration; actual items, packaging and included accessories may vary. We work to keep descriptions and prices accurate but do not warrant that all content is error-free, and we may correct any error at any time.
Pricing and currency
Prices are listed in UAE Dirham (AED). A US Dollar (USD) figure may be shown for convenience at an indicative rate and is not a binding quote. Prices exclude shipping, taxes, customs duties and bank charges unless stated, and may change without notice. The price that applies is the one we confirm in writing for your order.
Orders and acceptance
An order placed through the website or WhatsApp is a request to buy, not a binding contract. A contract is formed only when we confirm your order in writing. All orders are subject to stock availability and verification; we may decline or cancel an order — for example if an item is unavailable or a price was listed in error — and in that case we will not charge you, or we will refund any amount paid.
Payment
You can pay by bank transfer, Western Union or MoneyGram, or in cash in person at our Deira, Dubai showroom (for example, through a representative you have in Dubai). The bank details are shown on your order confirmation or pro-forma invoice; Western Union and MoneyGram pickup details are sent to you on WhatsApp per order. We do not offer cash on delivery. Goods are reserved and dispatched after cleared payment is received in full, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Shipping, customs and delivery
We ship internationally through trusted couriers and freight partners. Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. Import duties, taxes and customs clearance in the destination country are the buyer’s responsibility, and the buyer is responsible for ensuring the product may be lawfully imported and used in their country. Risk of loss passes to the buyer on dispatch.
Warranty and genuineness
All products are genuine and carry the manufacturer’s warranty stated on the product page. Warranty claims are handled according to the manufacturer’s terms; please keep your invoice as proof of purchase and contact us first so we can guide you. The warranty does not cover misuse, accidental or water damage beyond the rated limits, unauthorised repair, or normal wear.
Returns
If an item arrives faulty or not as described, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we will arrange a repair, replacement or refund as appropriate. Because these are high-value precision instruments shipped internationally, returns for other reasons may not be accepted, or may be subject to return-shipping and restocking costs. Items must be unused, complete and in their original packaging.
Lawful use and buyer responsibilities
Metal detecting is regulated differently from country to country. The buyer is solely responsible for obtaining any permits and for using the equipment in line with local laws, including rules on protected sites, antiquities and private land. We sell equipment only and accept no responsibility for how it is used.
Intellectual property
The content of this website is owned by us or our suppliers and may not be copied or reused without permission. Brand names, model names and logos are the trademarks of their respective manufacturers and are used only to identify the products we sell.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to a product or order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost finds, lost profit or loss of opportunity. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Dubai have jurisdiction over any dispute. We may update these Terms from time to time; the version that applies to your order is the one in force when we confirm it.
