Instead of finding buried metal, it tells you the exact composition of metal you already hold — confirming gold karat and purity, identifying alloys and reading up to 30 elements in seconds. Use it for gold buying, scrap, jewellery, authentication and mining assay.
Can it tell real gold from plated or fake, and check the karat?
Yes. The Precious Metals mode measures the actual gold content of a piece and reports its purity, so you can confirm karat and immediately spot plated or under-karat items. Because the analysis is nondestructive, you read the result in seconds and the piece is left unmarked.
What else can it identify besides gold?
