Lorenz is a German specialist in deep-seeking detection — a tool class built for caches, voids and large or very deep targets that ordinary VLF and PI coil machines cannot reach. Engineered and manufactured in Germany, every Lorenz unit is built around pulse induction and the Pulse Ground Balancing System (Pulse GBS), a ground-handling approach designed to stay stable over salty, wet and heavily mineralised soil so depth holds where conventional detectors lose it.
What sets Lorenz apart is on-screen imaging. Rather than only beeping at a target, these locators log ground data that becomes 2D and 3D colour, contour and surface maps — letting you read a target's likely type, depth and size before you dig. AO Gold Detectors carries two models: the DeepMax Z1, a lightweight 1.3 kg pulse-induction detector with built-in depth readout, GPS tracking and direct 3D imaging; and the professional DeepMax Z2, which adds Pulse Shaping Technology (PST), a calibrated 000–099 conductivity ID and a multi-channel data logger feeding Surfer and Lorenz Scripter mapping.
Depth always depends on target size and ground conditions, so we recommend honestly. As an authorised dealer we supply genuine stock with full manufacturer warranty and Arabic, French and English support across Sudan, Mali, Burkina Faso, Niger, Chad and the wider region — every step on WhatsApp.
How to choose
- Choose Lorenz when you target large caches, voids, chests or very deep metal — not coins on the surface. This is a deep-seeking tool class, distinct from VLF and standard PI nugget detectors.
- DeepMax Z1: the lighter, simpler entry. A 1.3 kg pulse-induction unit with Pulse GBS, depth readout, GPS tracking and direct 3D imaging — ideal for treasure hunters wanting deep reach plus on-screen target analysis.
- DeepMax Z2: the professional flagship. Adds Pulse Shaping Technology, a calibrated 000–099 conductivity ID, ferrous/non-ferrous discrimination and a multi-channel data logger with Surfer + Lorenz Scripter for twelve 2D/3D maps per field — built for archaeology and serious cache survey.
- Match the coil to the job. Both accept interchangeable coils: smaller 26–35 cm Double-D for pinpointing and shallower targets, large 1 m × 1 m and cable frame coils for maximum depth over big targets.
- Depth is honest, not absolute — it depends on target size, conductivity and ground. Tell us your terrain and goal on WhatsApp and we'll advise the right model and coils.
- Both are German-made, carry a 5-year warranty, and ship as genuine, authorised-dealer stock.
