GPZ 19 Super-D Coil

The Minelab GPZ 19 is a 19" x 18" Super-D search coil designed exclusively for the GPZ 7000 gold detector. Its Super-D configuration uses a central transmit winding and two outer receive windings to reduce magnetic coupling and ground noise, so prospectors hear cleaner target signals across difficult, mineralised ground; independent suspension windings also make it less prone to noise from mechanical vibration. A coil cover (skidplate) is included to protect it in the field. With 53% more search area than the standard GPZ 14 coil, the GPZ 19 covers more ground in less time, and field testing shows an average depth increase of up to 30% — making it the ideal choice for open ground and chasing deeper, larger nuggets. The coil is fully waterproof and submersible to 1 m (3.3 ft), allowing detection in creeks, along shorelines and in wet or rainy conditions.
