AT Max

The Garrett AT Max is Garrett's most advanced all-terrain VLF metal detector, built in the USA with increased transmit power and upgraded electronics for greater depth across coins, jewelry, relics and gold. Operating at an adjustable 13.6 kHz, it performs strongly on silver coins, gold jewelry and brass relics, and it is fully submersible to 3 m (10 ft) in fresh and salt water behind a dust- and humidity-resistant housing. Its headline feature is built-in Z-Lynk wireless, which streams audio to the included MS-3 headphones around six times faster than Bluetooth, with auto-pairing and no interference. The AT Max combines four search modes with a Digital Target ID (0–99), high-resolution iron discrimination, Iron Audio and exclusive All-Metal Iron Audio, plus 175 points of automatic and manual ground balance for salt beaches and heavily mineralised ground. Added tools include adjustable threshold and frequency, electronic pinpointing, notch discrimination, eight sensitivity levels, fast recovery, a coin-depth indicator and a backlit LCD. It weighs 1.4 kg on a 109–140 cm adjustable shaft, ships with an 8.5" x 11" PROformance Double-D coil, accepts all Garrett AT coils, runs on four AA batteries, and carries a 3-year manufacturer warranty.
