The Garrett GTI 2500 is a professional, high-performance metal detector that delivers strong results without complicated tuning, making it a good fit for everyone from beginners to seasoned prospectors. Its standout feature is exclusive Graphic Target Imaging (GTI), which displays a target's true size and depth on screen, backed by a Graphic Target Analyzer for conductivity and a True Digital Signal Processor for accurate discrimination — so you can tell trash from treasure before you dig. ScanTrack automatically matches signal processing to your coil-swing speed, while automatic, manual and FastTrack ground balance keep it stable in difficult soil. A deep-seeking non-motion pinpoint mode shows target size and depth, with surface elimination, a salt-elimination aid and Coin Alert Beltone audio rounding out the toolkit. The GTI 2500 offers a 24-segment Target ID, 24 sensitivity/depth settings and adjustable volume, threshold and tone. It runs at a user-adjustable 7.2 kHz on a 101–129 cm shaft, weighs 2.1 kg, ships with a 9.5" PROformance imaging coil plus an EagleEye pinpointing coil, runs on eight AA batteries (with a hip-mount option to reduce weight) and carries a 2-year manufacturer warranty.
