The Garrett PD 6500i is the walk-through metal detector of choice for security professionals worldwide, delivering optimum throughput without compromising detection. An Approved Product for Homeland Security under the SAFETY Act, it serves airports, courthouses, hospitals, schools, mass transit and special events, with selectable operating environments and more than 20 standard programs. With transmitters and receivers in each panel, the PD 6500i works as two detectors in one, scanning from both sides for superior identification, uniformity and efficiency. Thirty-three pinpoint zones precisely locate multiple targets on the left, centre and right of the body from head to toe, while Advanced Broadband Detection Technology provides accurate ferrous and non-ferrous weapon detection and discrimination. A directional counter, pacing lights, networking and remote management via CMA, IP55/65 weatherproofing and optional battery-and-caster deployment make it a rugged, flexible checkpoint solution, backed by a 3-year warranty.
