The Garrett Pro-Pointer AT is a fully waterproof pinpointer that speeds up target recovery for any metal detector. Submersible to 6 m (20 ft) with an IP68 rating and a high-visibility orange finish, it works equally well in dry soil, wet sand and underwater. Three sensitivity levels improve detection of gold nuggets and other small targets, while a fast retune button tunes out saltwater, wet sand and mineralised soil and narrows the detection field to precisely locate larger finds, gauge their size and depth, and separate multiple targets. Simple single-button operation controls power, retune, sensitivity and a Stealth vibrate-only mode, backed by patented proportional audio and vibration with a 360° detection area and a pinpointing tip. Practical extras include an LED flashlight, a patented scraping blade, a moulded inch/centimetre ruler, a lost-pinpointer alarm after five minutes, automatic power-off near one hour, and roughly double the LED battery life of comparable pinpointers. It runs on a single 9-volt battery, ships with a woven belt holster, and carries a 3-year warranty.
