The Garrett SuperWand is a lightweight handheld security metal detector designed for today's screeners — from airports and government buildings to sporting events and checkpoints. Its 360-degree detection field gives uniform sensitivity all the way around the wand, and tip pinpointing lets operators isolate the exact location of weapons, contraband and other metal objects on a person. An elongated profile provides an 8.75-inch scan area for fast head-to-toe sweeps of ferrous, non-ferrous and stainless-steel targets, while digital microprocessor self-calibration removes routine sensitivity adjustments. Single-touch operation and a three-colour LED show power (green), low battery (amber) and alarm (red), with a choice of clear audible or silent vibrate alerts for discreet screening. An ergonomic grip suits almost any hand size. Rugged injection-moulded construction with a structurally isolated coil absorbs impact and exceeds Mil-Std-810F drop-test procedures. It runs up to 80 hours on a standard 9 V battery (included), accepts an optional rechargeable pack, and is backed by a 3-year limited warranty.
