The Minelab Equinox 700 is a fully waterproof all-terrain metal detector powered by Multi-IQ simultaneous multi-frequency technology, delivering fast target response and accurate IDs even in high-trash ground. Built for coin shooters, relic hunters and beachcombers, it moves seamlessly across parks, fields, freshwater and saltwater thanks to its IP68 rating, submersible to 5 m (16 ft). A 119-segment high-resolution Target ID, together with adjustable Recovery Speed and Iron Bias, helps you separate worthwhile finds from junk, while selectable single frequencies of 4, 5, 10 and 15 kHz add control for specific goals. Park, Field and Beach Detect Modes — each with two profiles — keep it quick to set up wherever you hunt. The lightweight 3-piece carbon-fibre shaft weighs just 1.27 kg and collapses to 61 cm for easy transport. It ships with the 11-inch EQX 11 Double-D smart coil and ML 85 wireless headphones, and adds practical low-light features — a control-pod flashlight, red backlight and handgrip vibration. The Equinox 700 is IP68-rated and fully submersible to 5 m (16 ft), so it works in fresh and saltwater as well as on dry land — ideal for beaches, rivers and lakes.
How does the Equinox 700 differ from the Equinox 600?
Both use Multi-IQ multi-frequency, but the 700 adds a higher-resolution 119-segment Target ID (vs 50), a deeper IP68 rating to 5 m, an extra 4 kHz single frequency, included ML 85 wireless headphones, and low-light extras like a flashlight, red backlight and handgrip vibration.
