The Minelab Equinox 900 is the flagship of the Equinox line: an all-in-one gold and treasure detector driven by Multi-IQ simultaneous multi-frequency technology, combining the strengths of several detectors in one. Rated IP68 and fully waterproof to 5 m (16 ft), it works confidently across every terrain — from dry goldfields to wet sand and surf — making it a serious tool for detectorists chasing coins, silver, jewellery and gold nuggets. A high-resolution 119-segment Target ID, plus adjustable Recovery Speed and Iron Bias, delivers excellent target separation in trashy ground, while four Detect Modes (Park, Field, Beach and Gold) and six single frequencies (4, 5, 10, 15, 20 and 40 kHz) give complete control — with Gold Mode adding sensitivity for nuggets in mineralised soils. The lightweight 1.27 kg carbon-fibre shaft packs down to 61 cm and ships with both the 11″ EQX 11 and 6″ EQX 06 Double-D coils. ML 85 wireless headphones, a control-pod flashlight and handgrip vibration round out the package, backed by a 3-year manufacturer warranty.
