The Minelab Gold Monster 2000 is a high-performance gold detector built for outstanding sensitivity to small natural nuggets and solid depth on larger targets, even in heavily mineralised ground. It is powered by Multi-Au technology, a hybrid engine that blends simultaneous multi-frequency VLF (about 12 to 76 kHz) with pulse-induction-style ground handling to preserve weak signals and suppress interference, suiting both newcomers and seasoned prospectors. Echo Wave Audio layers discrimination tones to separate valuable targets from hot rocks, iron trash and noise, while a real-time Gold Chance Indicator gauges the odds of gold versus junk. Automatic and manual ground balance adapt in real time, sensitivity can be set manually or automatically, and automatic noise cancel keeps it stable. It ships with the GM2000-05 5″ round Double-D coil (waterproof to 1 m), a high-contrast LCD, a lightweight carbon-fibre shaft, a built-in speaker with a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and a removable rechargeable lithium-ion battery — all backed by a 2-year manufacturer warranty.
