The Teknetics T2 is a high-performance, multi-purpose metal detector made in the USA, built on advanced VLF induction-balance electronics that are easy to learn yet powerful enough for serious detectorists. Operating at 13 kHz, it locates coins, relics, precious metals and gold on or below the surface, making it a flexible single-detector solution for hobbyists and treasure hunters across many situations. A large LCD provides 0–99 target identification with on-screen and audible indication of target type and depth, a dedicated pinpoint control finds the exact target centre, and fast automatic calibration with a ground-balancing system suppresses interference for use across most terrains and mineralised soils. Double-filter discrimination lets you reject iron and unwanted trash. Fitted with a waterproof 11″ Bi-Axial Double-D coil and weighing about 1.6 kg, the T2 runs up to 40 hours on four AA batteries and is backed by a 5-year warranty.
